Celebrate Black History Month and share the love on Valentine’s Weekend with a heartfelt event honoring the power of love in our community. Seats are limited!

The event begins with a history harvest and special reception at 2:00 PM, followed by the screening at 2:30 PM sharp. Please bring your historical photos and documents that share about Alamance History and we will digitize and archive them for you!

Afterward, stay for a brief audience talk-back session to reflect on the stories and share your thoughts. Don’t miss this inspiring celebration of love, legacy, and community!

This special program is a love letter to Alamance County, showcasing moving stories of love from power couples and prominent community figures. These stories, collected over five years as part of the Power+Place Collaborative’s community-based oral history and digital storytelling initiative, were created in collaboration with the African American Cultural Arts & History Center and Burlington Recreation and Parks.
